Camera needs locked to bounds, holding in any direction eventually makes the camera stop, but it "you" keep moving so when the opposite direction is pressed then it takes some time for the camera to get moving again.

Pretty cool use of perlin/simplex noise!

Works great! If you want to get some more interesting terrain you can look into worley noise and multiply your perlin noise field with it.
